The reel's performance has been significantly improved, with a 30% increase in durability and a 35% increase in smoothness under load, thanks to the addition of double-shielded stainless steel ball bearings and a ball bearing sleeve to support the pinion gear and main shaft.
The Royale Legend II baitcasters come in two gear ratios, 5.4:1 and 7.2:1, catering to different fishing needs. The 5.4:1 model is ideal for working crankbaits or slower presentations, while the 7.2:1 model is perfect for pitching jigs or burning baits at high speed, quickly retrieving line at 26.8 inches per handle crank.
The reels feature quadruple disc carbon fiber drag washers that deliver a smooth maximum drag power of 17.6 lbs, protecting light fishing lines and providing confidence when landing big fish. The oval-shaped ceramic line guide and the custom-contoured EVA handle knobs further enhance the reel's performance and comfort.
